How to measure for your French Doors

Measuring for a new PVC French Door

Door Width:  Take measurements of positions A, B and C from brick to brick.  Write down the three measurements.  Take the smallest of the three measurements, deduct 10mm to allow for fitting and sealing.

Door Height: Take measurements of positions A, B and C from brick to brick.  Write down the three measurements.  Take the smallest of the three measurements, deduct 10mm to allow for fitting and sealing.

NB: If your French door opening is larger than 1800mm wide please email us as you may require a sidelight.

Some important points to remember

Measure from outside, brickwork to brickwork. (plaster to plaster)

If that is not possible, measure your existing window.

Measure in a few different positions, take your smallest size and deduct approximately 10mm.
